Hong Kong banks also rebounded, HSBC (00005) rose 1.12% to HK$144.2, Standard Chartered (02888) rose 0.73% to HK$219.6, Bank of China (Hong Kong) (02388) rose 0.91% to HK$48.92; AIA (01299) opened 1.81% higher at HK$70.5.
OpenAI's annualized revenue is reportedly close to $5 billion, lower than some market estimates of nearly $7 billion. Large model twins declined, Zhipu (02513) fell 2.57% to HK$626.5, MiniMax (00100) fell 1.06% to HK$205, down for three consecutive days with a cumulative decline of 17.74%.

Biotech blue chips showed mixed performance, Innovent Biologics (01801) opened 1.89% higher at HK$94.35, WuXi Biologics (02269) fell 1.2% to HK$53.45.
