MINISO announced that the gross merchandise value (GMV) of goods sold in mainland China for the third quarter ended September 30 increased by 25% to 30% year-on-year, accelerating further compared to the first half of this year, primarily driven by high single-digit same-store sales growth. Meanwhile, during the National Day holiday period from October 1 to 7 in mainland China, total GMV increased by 20% to 25% year-on-year, mainly driven by low single-digit same-store sales growth.
Regarding overseas markets, GMV in the U.S. market increased by approximately 20% year-on-year in the third quarter, driven by new product arrivals, with GMV growth rebounding to over 30% in September and recording positive same-store sales growth.
