[ET Net News Agency, 31 March 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$257.33
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.12 billion, or 14.43% of the market's
turnover. There were 728 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.75 billion and HK$1.98
billion, or 10.09% and 5.33% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 79.02% and 11.51% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and BYD COMPANY (01211) registered HK$1.78 billion and HK$1.61 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.8% and 4.33% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 10.52% and 25.61% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.12, or 2.22%, to HK$5.28. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.26,
or 1.1%, to HK$23.46. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.85, or 3.62% to HK$49.2. BYD COMPANY declined by
HK$14, or 3.44%, to HK$392.8.
