billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.7 billion, or 15.06% of the market's
turnover. There were 724 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$6.12 billion and HK$3.71
billion, or 16.23% and 9.85% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 25.12% and 55.59% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.88 billion and HK$1.27 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.98% and 3.38% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 6.69% and 16.53% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.04, or 0.17%, to HK$23.5. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.005, or
0.09%, to HK$5.285. XIAOMI-W fell HK$2.7, or 5.49% to HK$46.5. BABA-W jumped HK$1.8, or
1.41%, to HK$129.8.
