[ET Net News Agency, 2 April 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$130.22
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$17 billion, or 13.06% of the market's
turnover. There were 674 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.75 billion and HK$1.72
billion, or 16.16% and 10.11% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 25.78% and 65.74% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.44 billion and HK$1.08 billion of
short sales, accounting for 8.49% and 6.34% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 8.33% and 17.14% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.04, or 0.17%, to HK$23.54. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.045,
or 0.85%, to HK$5.33. XIAOMI-W fell HK$0.4, or 0.86% to HK$46.1. HSCEI ETF jumped HK$0.06,
or 0.07%, to HK$87.36.
