[ET Net News Agency, 2 April 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$216.6
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$31.85 billion, or 14.7% of the market's
turnover. There were 705 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH (03033)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.38 billion and HK$3.31 billion, or
10.62% and 10.38% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 31.14% and 63.85% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$3.24 billion and HK$2.25 billion
of short sales, accounting for 10.19% and 7.05% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 23.97% and 7.75% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed down HK$0.04, or 0.05%, to HK$87.26. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.025, or
0.47%, to HK$5.31. TRACKER FUND rose HK$0.02, or 0.09% to HK$23.52. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$1.95, or 4.19%, to HK$44.55.
