HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 23,440

[ET Net News Agency, 5 March 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 23,442. The Hang Seng Index now rose 498 points, or 2.2% to
23,439; with market turnover of 24.04b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 189
points, or 2.3% to 8,556; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 161 points, or 2.9% to 5,697.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$6.6, or 4.1% to HK$167.8, with turnover of HK$588.83m;
BABA-W (09988) rose HK$3, or 2.3% to HK$130.8, with turnover of HK$2.07b; TENCENT (00700)
rose HK$14, or 2.9% to HK$505, with turnover of HK$2.71b. (ed)
